A Day Of Remembering

Crazy Daisy was all legs with an oversize head when she came into our lives as a puppy. Her huge round soulful eyes melted every heart she laid eyes on. As time went by we noticed she was very smart. Not in a cute doggie trick kind of smart but overly smart. She was always one step ahead of us. Apparently she had studied our behavior and new our every move. For instance she figured out that when we watched TV we would be so into it that she easily could sneak our snacks or napkins from the ottoman in front of us. She would look at us so profoundly that we wondered what she was thinking.
She was with us for 11 years and pushed us to our limits in trying to stay ahead of her. She always amazed us with her antics when we came home. Our Crazy Daisy ruled the house and we had to admit it, she was smarter than us.
She left us just as our daughter wanted it, at home and surrounded by love and attention.
She taught us much and loved us even more. We will always remember our Crazy Daisy with laughter and lots of love.

pets- they crawl into our hearts and leave an empty spot when they die.

Our precious four legged family members often provide us with the richest memories. The way they fit into our lives is entirely unique. I don't know what I would do with our furry little loves.
